When visiting Antibes we were able sit outside at Les Filles du Micocoulier and enjoy some rosé and crêpes. The restaurant is situated next to Antibes renowned food and flower market and has about thirty seats. Most of the seating was outside but even the inside had one wall completely open so you could still experience the al fresco.
Their crêpes are named after well known artists — so appropriate since it’s such an artsy town. Miles got the Chagall and I the Van Gogh. Miles’ Chagall had smoked ham, sun dried tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, mixed greens, homemade pesto, and I think some goat cheese. He really enjoyed it.
The Van Gogh was dressed with smoked salmon, goat cheese topped with the house pesto drizzled with some extra olive oil, mixed greens, and a chive cream mixed topped with salmon roe! O.M.G. Seriously, one of the best tings I’ve ever eaten in my life.
If you’re in Antibes. GO. If you can figure out how to make it come on over. I’ll set the table and open the rosé!
